WCAG 2.1 Level AA is an internationally recognized benchmark for web accessibility, and our goal is to meet or exceed these guidelines on all pages and features of our site. While we are still working toward full compliance, we remain transparent about our progress and are dedicated to continuous improvement. This commitment means we consider accessibility from the start – for example, ensuring our online forms, appointment scheduling tools, and embedded media (videos) are all designed to be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for users with a wide range of disabilities. We also strive to incorporate inclusive design practices and follow accessibility best practices as part of our development process, rather than relying on third-party “overlay” plugins, to achieve a more robust and native accessible experience.

Accessibility is an ongoing journey, not a one-time project. We are continuously auditing and updating our website to improve usability and accessibility for all users. Some specific steps we have taken (and continue to take) include implementing features and practices that enhance accessibility across our site:

• Alternative Text for Images: All meaningful images and graphics on our site include descriptive alternative text so that users with visual impairments or those using screen readers can understand the content of images.

• Accessible Forms and Controls: All form fields, buttons, and interactive controls are properly labeled and usable via keyboard navigation. We design our online forms and appointment scheduling tools to be compatible with screen readers and other assistive technologies, allowing users to fill out forms or book appointments without barriers.

• Captions and Transcripts for Media: Any video or multimedia content embedded on our site includes captionsand/or transcripts. This ensures that users who are deaf or hard of hearing can access the information. We also aim to provide audio descriptions for video content when possible, to assist users with visual impairments.

• Keyboard Navigation and Compatibility: We ensure that all features and menus on our website can be used with keyboard-only navigation, and we test our site for compatibility with common assistive technologies (such as screen reader software and voice recognition tools). This helps users who cannot use a mouse or rely on assistive tech to navigate and operate our site effectively.

• Ongoing Testing and Improvement: We regularly evaluate our website’s accessibility through a combination of automated tools and manual testing (including feedback from users with disabilities). When issues are identified, we work diligently to fix them and update our practices to prevent future barriers. We consider accessibility feedback and advancements in guidelines as part of our continuous site maintenance.
