ILCG is inviting six specialized consultants to join a project-based affiliate network supporting leadership, strategy, and measurable social-impact work.

For Impact & Leadership Consulting Group (ILCG), that question matters because our work sits at the intersection of leadership, strategy, and social impact. Organizations rarely face those challenges one at a time. A conversation about responsible technology can quickly become a conversation about workforce trust. A funding challenge can expose questions about program design, measurement, or financial sustainability. A leadership retreat can surface decisions that require both facilitation and implementation support.

ILCG's mission is to help organizations turn purpose into practice by aligning leadership, engagement, and community impact with organizational priorities. The Affiliate Consultant Network is one way we are building the capacity to support that mission with greater depth while keeping the work grounded in a shared approach.

Why ILCG Is Building an Affiliate Network

The network is not intended to be a generic directory of available freelancers. ILCG is selecting six specialized consultants whose expertise can support future client work when a project calls for it. Each consultant will bring a distinct discipline, but the purpose is collective: connect credible expertise with practical, mission-aligned implementation.

ILCG's current four-part approach moves from insight and alignment to co-design, leadership capacity building, and measurement, storytelling, and scaling. A carefully built affiliate network allows the right expertise to enter that process when it adds value. It also gives ILCG a way to respond to interconnected client needs without pretending that one consultant should hold every answer.

That is the underlying reason for this expansion. ILCG wants growth to strengthen the quality and usefulness of the work, not simply increase the amount of work we can take on.

The Six Areas of Expertise

ILCG is currently accepting applications for one Affiliate Consultant in each of the following areas:

·     AI & Emerging Technologies Strategy: supporting responsible, practical, and human-centered technology adoption, policy, digital transformation, workforce planning, and implementation.

·     CSR, ESG & Sustainability Strategy: helping organizations align responsible business practices, community investment, stakeholder trust, sustainability, and impact reporting.

·     Nonprofit Finance & Sustainability: strengthening program and grant budgets, financial readiness, revenue diversification, funding models, and long-term operating sustainability.

·     Grant Strategy & Writing: helping mission-driven organizations identify aligned opportunities and develop clear letters of inquiry, proposals, cases for support, and grant-readiness materials.

·     Athlete Impact & Sport Strategy: supporting athletes, teams, sport organizations, and community partners in using sport as a platform for leadership, purpose, philanthropy, and social impact.

·     Leadership Coaching & Facilitation: supporting leaders, founders, boards, staff teams, and organizations through reflective coaching, guided conversations, retreats, workshops, and values-based facilitation.

These specialties reflect the range of questions organizations bring to ILCG. They also create room for consultants to contribute from genuine depth rather than stretch their experience across areas where another professional may be better equipped to lead.

A Project-Based Model

This opportunity is structured as a 1099 independent-contractor relationship. It is not a salaried role, a full-time position, or a promise of recurring weekly or monthly work.

Selected consultants will complete paid onboarding and may then be invited to future assignments based on client needs, subject-matter expertise, availability, rates, and project fit. Consultants may accept or decline an offered assignment. When work moves forward, the role, scope, schedule, deliverables, compensation, and approved hours or project fee will be defined in writing for that specific engagement.

A project-based model can offer meaningful flexibility and access to mission-aligned work. Applicants should consider the opportunity as one part of an independent professional practice.

You may be a strong fit if you have substantial experience in one of the six specialty areas and can demonstrate how that expertise has supported real organizational decisions, programs, or outcomes. The network may also fit professionals who value autonomy, are comfortable with project-based work, and want to contribute to purpose-driven engagements without giving up an independent practice.
